Welcome to Quilt For Lovers! Quilting is really an art, quilting is a sewing craft, because pieces of cloth are produced to form a quilt with a pattern design or other household items! Filling can be a fun and rewarding hobby, and can be done alone, with other people or in groups. And how about learning this incredible Twisted Blossom Quilt pattern, which features a modern and beautiful design to behold. Don’t worry, it’s not as hard as it looks! You will be delighted, nothing like a willpower to get an incredible job, even if it is not at your level! Ready for a new challenge? So let’s go!
The ending is always incredible and rewarding. Choose a fabric in a pattern of prints or choose a patchwork in solid and simple colors. Important tip: For best results, choose fabrics that match the decor of the room where you will use the bedspread, think about colors and scale – not thinking about it can result in a flat and out of order bedspread… Choosing cotton will probably be your best bet!
Stay in the same family of colors, but do not use the same shades – your bedspread will look monochromatic and flat, think of lights and colors, as bold and dark and avoid colors that match too much, do not choose fabrics with the same size and patterns, as with a good variety of the two it will create a dynamic and vivid piece!! You can choose a fabric and base the rest on that specific pattern, have a “highlighted” fabric, a fabric that shines brighter than the others so it will highlight the entire quilt.
You will also need fabric for the back, the edges, for binding and filling. If you choose a high quality 100% cotton fabric, you will have no problems with the color mix, but if the fabric is older or of low quality, wash it before cutting and a tip: buy a suitable fabric, make sure it it is resistant and does not shrink (if in doubt, wash the fabric before starting the project to be tested).
I love this world of crafts and I am happy to share with you the news of this beautiful pattern. In the photos, I show how the final result will be to help in the assembly of this beautiful pattern. I leave the pattern below in PDF and it’s a free pattern.
